THE TOUR
The Lonestar Tour is a competitive amateur golf tour based in Dallas, TX.
Founded in 2023 out of pure passion for the game, the tour aims to elevate the amateur golf experience and connect golfers in the Dallas area through fun yet fierce competition.
Our mission is to provide the average golfer consistent access to competitive golf and to grow the golfing community in the Dallas metroplex.
The Lonestar Tour strives to create a competitive atmosphere where players are challenged physically and mentally, and where anyone can win on any given day.
THE MISSION
HOW IT WORKS
Players compete to earn DC Points throughout the season. These points, earned individually, are attributed to both their individual and team totals
The Team with the most points at the end of the season wins the X Cup.
The Top 20 Players qualify for the Tour Championship where 36 holes decide the Champion.
The Lonestar Tour has partnered with Mercy Street Dallas to host an annual charity golf scramble tournament benefitting Mercy Street.
Mercy Street is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to mentoring and empowering youth through Christ-centered relationships, youth sports, and community development in West Dallas.
